Hello! My name is Daniel and I’m from Cuba. My role is the Academic Programme and Operations Coordinator at ESEI, I’m dedicated to making sure that the daily academic experience for students and faculty runs smoothly and efficiently. My role involves a combination of hands-on operations, academic support, digital platform management, and community engagement. Whether it’s prepping classrooms or helping to manage the student platforms, I’m here to make campus life as seamless and supportive as possible.

In my role, I handle a wide range of responsibilities that ensure smooth academic and operational processes. Below are the key areas I support:

Student & Faculty Support: As a frontline support professional, I take pride in being the bridge between students, faculty, and academic success. Beyond resolving queries and preparing materials, I proactively identify potential challenges—whether it’s a student struggling with deadlines or a professor needing last-minute resources—and step in with solutions. My goal is to create a welcoming, stress-free environment where everyone feels heard and empowered. From guiding new students through their first weeks to assisting faculty with grading systems, I ensure the academic experience at ESEI is seamless from day one.
Operations & Campus Management: A well-functioning campus is the backbone of a great learning experience. My role involves meticulous attention to detail—whether it’s setting up classrooms with the right tech, restocking supplies, or troubleshooting AV issues before lectures begin. I also coordinate with external vendors for maintenance and upgrades, ensuring our facilities meet high standards. During events, I wear multiple hats, from managing registrations to overseeing logistics, so that every workshop, orientation, or guest lecture runs flawlessly.
Academic Administration: Accuracy and efficiency are critical in academic administration. Beyond managing records and diplomas, I streamline processes to reduce paperwork—digitizing forms, optimizing filing systems, and ensuring compliance with institutional policies. I also play a key role in student onboarding, making sure induction packs are comprehensive and deadlines are met. By collecting and analyzing feedback, I help refine academic services, contributing to continuous improvement in ESEI’s programs.
Digital Learning Platform Support: In today’s education landscape, a smooth digital experience is non-negotiable. I ensure ESEI’s platforms (Classlife, TalentLMS) are user-friendly and fully functional—troubleshooting access issues, updating course modules, and training users when needed. I also generate progress reports for faculty, helping them track student engagement and intervene when necessary. My work ensures that technology enhances, rather than hinders, the learning process.
Community Engagement & Communication: Clear communication fosters a strong academic community. I curate and distribute newsletters, manage internal announcements, and serve as a liaison between departments to prevent miscommunication. During campus initiatives, I gather student input to ensure their voices shape decisions. Whether it’s promoting a new policy or celebrating achievements, I make sure information is timely, relevant, and accessible to all.
